How it all began …
Keith Gorton Services was founded in 1977 as a consequence of the consultancy activities of Keith Gorton, the then Head of Marketing at Humberside College of Higher Education (now the University of Lincolnshire). Keith left academia in 1982 to concentrate exclusively on the market research aspects of his clients.
Keith Gorton Services was born and continues to operate from the East Yorkshire town of Hornsea near Hull.
The company has continued to grow and develop, concentrating first on business to business, where it quickly established itself as a leading provider of B2B market research to the Building Services Industry offering Trade Panel Research.
KGS Limited now offers a full service provision in all consumer research and B2B arenas. Keith Gorton Services was incorporated in 2003 and now trades as KGS Limited.
