Airports
KGS has developed expertise in conducting continuous passenger research at a variety of UK regional airports, through the use of its dedicated team of trained interviewers, supervisors and analytical staff. The stringent need for quota control and an appreciation of the security procedures involved are just two of the required skills we have developed over the years at KGS.
We are proud to provide research at several UK airports.
In addition to these continuous surveys having trained interviewers with airside security clearance and detailed airport knowledge we also benefit from ad-hoc research exercises – on behalf of the airports themselves, airlines, retail concessions and other suppliers to the travel market – that respond to a specific timely research need.

Building Services
The Building Services arena impinges on a very wide variety of specifiers, installers, end users and distributors. It covers residential, commercial and industrial markets. KGS has arguably been the most prominent research agency in this arena for over three decades.
We have studied a whole spectrum of products from air conditioning to boilers to switchgear. With experience of HEVAC and electrical products and a thorough understanding of both heavyside and lightside distribution. We have a variety of trade panels which provide a continuous update of our market awareness.
In these sectors we regularly hold trade clinics and focus group discussions, and we conduct personal face-to-face interviews as well as telephone interviews in line with our differing client objectives.
Customer Satisfaction Monitors
Several of our client sectors are concerned to measure and continuously monitor the progress of their customer satisfaction, which is regularly used as a corporate tool to assess staff performance. In order to feed into board-level reporting, regular analysis, interpretation and trending of customer satisfaction levels is provided by KGS.
